FULLVIEW PLEASE
Jaaa, I did it ! I did it :dance: I finished it, it's over :phew:
I wanted to draw Lin Yao from Fullmetal Alchemist in a more realistic way and found an excellent reference pic in the volume 1 of Croutching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Andy Seto is a god, his drawing are pure jewels). And Lin looks so serious like this ! I wonder what will happen in volume 16 (Poor Frenchies must wait until March 2008), with <spoil>that stupid prince who became the new Greed :shakefist:</spoil> Please if you know don't tell me, it wanna be a surprise when I will have the book in my hands... I was astonished enought to know the death of a character in Hellsing without reading the 9th volume :cries:
I had again some difficulties with the hands, but because of Lin's pose I can't hide them in his pockets :XD: Plus, I don't think that there are pockets on that kind of clothes... Realistic hands are like hell, and I'm not very familiar with male anatomy ^^;
The poem – Mujinjima no tenshi to naraba suzushikaro – means something like "If I were the sovereign of a desert island it would be refreshing". It's a haiku written by Sôseki Natsume, and I think that it suits very well to Lin. I thank Teruyo a lot for translating the rômaji for me :hug:

Impressionant :wow: les plis des vêtements et les mains sont parfaits :aww: tu as fait du bon boulot ;) J'aime beaucoup la couleur de la peau du personnage et le jeu des ombres. En fait c'est vraiment une belle image (en plus le décor et le gars se fondent super bien) !

hum... dis, il est marié ce Lin Yao ? :D

La référence y est pour beaucoup, mais j'ai dû changer une des mains parce que je ne pouvais pas la reproduire... Ça donnait un truc hyper moche sur mon dessin alors qu'elle était à l'exact du modèle :-o Comme on dit, laissons à Andy Seto ce qui appartient à Andy Seto :lol: Pour les ombres, j'aurais dû me filmer en train de les faire parce que c'était toute une mise en scène (pas aussi exagéré que Raito qui écrit dans le Death Note mais bon ;)) !
Lin Yao n'est pas marié pour l'instant mais s'il atteint son but et devient empereur de Xing, selon la tradition il aura pour lui tout seul une é pouse venant de chacun des quinze (je crois...) clans composant le pays. À moins que son amour pour Ran Fan (qui est tout à fait possible dans le manga, mais qui pour l'instant n'existe que dans l'esprit dérangé de fans comme moi) ne le fasse briser cette tradition ancestrale, il aura droit à soit une unique é pouse :D Mais tout cela est relativement compromis, puisque ce baka de prince est devenu un homonculus...
